PXE Boot

PXE Boot, short for Preboot Execution Environment Boot, is a method that allows computers to start up and load an operating system from a network server instead of a local drive. When a computer with PXE is powered on, it communicates with a network device called a DHCP server to get an IP address and locate a special server called a PXE server. The server then sends the necessary files to boot the operating system remotely. This is useful for managing many computers efficiently, performing remote installations, or deploying updates without using physical media like CDs or USB drives.
