Pure Sciences

Pure Sciences, also known as basic or fundamental sciences, are areas of study that seek to understand the natural world based on observation, experimentation and theories. They include subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology. Rather than focusing on immediate practical applications, pure sciences strive to expand our knowledge and understanding of the universe, providing the groundwork for applied sciences to build upon. Without pure sciences, we wouldn't have the fundamental knowledge that allows for advances in technology, medicine, and many other fields.
