pulse oximeter
A pulse oximeter is a small device that measures how well oxygen is being carried in your blood. It clips onto a fingertip (or sometimes a toe or earlobe) and uses light sensors to estimate the oxygen saturation level, called SpO₂. It also tracks your pulse rate. The device provides quick, non-invasive readings, helping monitor lung and heart health. Normal SpO₂ levels generally range from 95% to 100%. It’s commonly used in hospitals, clinics, or at home to ensure your blood oxygen levels are adequate for your body’s needs.
