Pula Arena

The Pula Arena is a well-preserved Roman amphitheater located in Pula, Croatia. Built around the 1st century AD, it was used for gladiatorial games and public events similar to the Roman Colosseum. Made of limestone, it could hold around 20,000 spectators and features a complex system of underground tunnels and corridors. Today, the arena is a popular historical landmark and cultural venue, hosting concerts, festivals, and theatrical performances, allowing visitors to experience a glimpse of ancient Roman entertainment structures in a remarkably intact condition.
