Pueblo religion
Pueblo religion encompasses the spiritual beliefs and practices of Native American tribes in the southwestern United States, such as the Hopi, Zuni, and other pueblos. Central to their religion are rituals, ceremonies, and offerings that honor nature, spirits, and ancestors. They believe in a balanced universe where humans, animals, and the environment are interconnected. Rituals often take place in kivas—underground or semi-subterranean ceremonial chambers—and involve dances, prayer songs, and symbolic objects. Pueblo religion emphasizes harmony, renewal, and respect for natural cycles, guiding community life and maintaining a sacred relationship with the land and spiritual beings.
