Public Trustee
A Public Trustee is a government-appointed official or agency that manages the financial, legal, or personal affairs of individuals who are unable to do so themselves, such as minors, people with disabilities, or those under legal guardianship. They act in the best interest of these individuals, ensuring their assets are protected, bills are paid, and their welfare is maintained. The Public Trustee also administers estates after someone’s death if there is no private executor. Essentially, they serve as a responsible, impartial caretaker and manager of personal and financial matters for individuals in need of assistance.
