Public Services Ombudsman

A Public Services Ombudsman is an independent official who investigates complaints from individuals about government or public bodies’ services, such as local councils, health boards, or social services. Their role is to ensure these organizations act fairly, properly, and within the law. When someone feels they’ve been treated unfairly or that a service has been mishandled, they can refer their complaint to the Ombudsman.
