Provinces of Canada
Canada is divided into ten provinces and three territories. Provinces are regions with their own governments responsible for areas like education, health care, and transportation. They have more legislative powers than territories, which are governed more directly by the federal government. Each province has its own capital city and unique cultural or geographic features. Examples include Ontario (with Toronto), Quebec (with Montreal), and British Columbia (with Vancouver). These provinces help organize the country into manageable areas, ensuring local needs and policies are addressed effectively while still being part of the larger Canadian federation.
