Property Owners' Associations
Property Owners' Associations (POAs) are organizations formed by real estate developers or homeowners to manage and maintain common areas and enforce community rules within a residential neighborhood. Members, typically homeowners, pay fees to the POA for services such as landscaping, maintenance of shared facilities (like pools or parks), and community events. The association sets and enforces guidelines on property aesthetics and conduct to maintain neighborhood standards and property values. While enhancing community living, POAs also have the authority to impose penalties for violations of their rules.
