Promisee
A promisee is the person or entity to whom a promise is made in a contract or agreement. In simpler terms, if someone promises to do something for another person, the promisee is the one who will benefit from that promise. For example, in a contract for services, the promisee is the client receiving the service. The promisee has the right to expect that the promise will be fulfilled as agreed. If the promisor (the one making the promise) fails to uphold their end, the promisee may seek legal remedies to enforce the promise.
