Projection Methods

Projection methods are mathematical techniques used to find solutions to complex problems by simplifying them. They work by breaking down a difficult problem into smaller, more manageable parts, projecting or mapping the original problem onto a simpler space where solutions are easier to find. Once a solution is identified in this simpler space, it is then "projected back" to the original problem. These methods are commonly used in optimization, numerical analysis, and machine learning to efficiently solve equations, minimize errors, or optimize parameters, providing a systematic approach to handle challenging mathematical tasks.
