Project Civic Access

Project Civic Access is an initiative by the U.S. Department of Justice that helps local governments ensure their facilities, programs, and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. It encourages municipalities to comply with federal disability laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), by making public buildings, parks, transportation, and communication more accessible. The goal is to remove barriers and promote equal participation in community life, fostering inclusive environments where all residents can access essential services and engage fully in civic activities.
