Progress M
Progress M is a family of Russian cargo spacecraft designed to deliver supplies, equipment, and fuel to the International Space Station (ISS). They are uncrewed vehicles that can carry a variety of cargo and are launched into space atop Russian rockets. Once they reach the ISS, they dock automatically, allowing crew members to unload supplies and then load waste and used materials for disposal. After completing their mission, they are detached and safely burn up upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere, ensuring efficient and reliable resupply for the station's ongoing operations.
