Private Label

Private label refers to products manufactured by one company but sold under another company's brand name. Essentially, a retailer partners with a manufacturer to produce items that carry the retailer's own branding and packaging. This allows the retailer to offer unique products often at lower costs compared to national brands, while the manufacturer benefits from additional sales. Common examples include store-brand groceries, clothing, or household items. Private labeling helps businesses differentiate themselves in the market, build brand loyalty, and maintain control over pricing and marketing strategies.
