Prithviraja III, also known as Prithviraj Chauhan, was a prominent Indian king during the late 12th century. He famously fought against invading forces like the Ghurids, and his reign is celebrated in Indian history and literature. Prithviraja is remembered as a symbol of Rajput valor and resistance. His reign marked a significant period in North Indian history, though he ultimately lost to the invading armies, dying in the process.
