printers' marks

Printer's marks are small symbols and lines placed on printed materials to guide the printing process. They help ensure colors are correctly aligned (registration), check color consistency (color bars), and indicate where trims or folds should happen (crop and fold marks). These marks are mainly used during press runs to maintain quality, and they are usually trimmed off before the final product reaches you. They do not appear in the finished design but are essential tools for printers to produce accurate, high-quality prints.
