Print Resolution
Print resolution refers to the level of detail and sharpness in a printed image, measured in dots per inch (DPI). Higher resolution means more dots are used to recreate the image, resulting in clearer and more detailed prints. For example, a print at 300 DPI will have finer detail than one at 150 DPI. Resolution affects how crisp photographs and graphics appear on paper. When choosing a printer or setting, higher resolution generally produces better quality output, especially for images with fine details, although it may take longer to print and use more ink.
