Prince Philip was the Duke of Edinburgh and the husband of Queen Elizabeth II. Born in 1921 in Greece, he married Elizabeth in 1947, becoming her supporting consort for over seven decades. Prince Philip was also a naval officer and a patron of science and technology. He retired from public duties in 2017 and passed away in 2021 at the age of 99.
