Primary and Secondary Education

Primary education, also known as elementary school, typically covers the early years of schooling where children learn foundational skills like reading, writing, math, and social interaction. It usually includes grades from kindergarten or first grade up to around fifth or sixth grade. Secondary education, or high school, follows primary education and generally includes grades 9 through 12. It builds on basic skills, offering more advanced coursework in various subjects, preparing students for higher education or the workforce. Together, primary and secondary education form the core structure of formal schooling, supporting students' academic, personal, and social development.
