Pribram's brain theory proposes that the brain processes information similarly to a hologram, where each part contains information about the whole. Instead of thoughts being stored in specific locations, neural activities create patterns of electromagnetic fields that encode information across the brain. These holographic-like patterns enable flexible, distributed storage and retrieval of memories and perception, allowing the brain to function efficiently and adaptively. Essentially, Pribram suggested that our brain's structure and function resemble a hologram, facilitating complex mental processes through interference patterns and distributed representations.
