PRI (Partido Revolucionario Institucional)

The Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) is a major political party in Mexico, founded in 1929. It historically held dominant control over Mexican politics for much of the 20th century, maintaining power through a combination of electoral influence, institutional control, and political networks. The PRI promoted stability and economic development but was also criticized for corruption, authoritarian practices, and limited political competition.
