Preventive Services Task Force
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) is an independent panel of experts that evaluates medical evidence to recommend health screening tests, preventive medications, and counseling services. Their goal is to promote effective preventive care and improve public health by guiding healthcare providers on what services can help detect diseases early or prevent them altogether. The Task Force issues grades (A, B, C, D, or I) to indicate the strength of the evidence and recommendation for each service, helping clinicians and patients make informed health decisions.
