Presidential Election

A presidential election is a process through which citizens of a country choose their leader, typically held every four years in many nations like the United States. Voters select candidates from various political parties who campaign for the presidency. The election usually involves primaries to determine party nominees, followed by a general election where voters decide among those nominees. The candidate with the most votes, or in some cases, the majority of electoral votes, wins and takes office. This process reflects the democratic principle that leaders should be chosen by the people.
