Preprint Archive
A preprint archive is an online platform where researchers share their scientific studies before they undergo formal review and publication in journals. It allows scientists to quickly disseminate their findings to the community, invite feedback, and establish priority for their discoveries. Preprints are not yet peer-reviewed, so they should be interpreted with caution, but they facilitate open, rapid communication in the scientific process across fields like physics, biology, and medicine. Examples include arXiv for physics and bioRxiv for biological sciences.
