Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a government initiative in India aimed at providing affordable and clean cooking fuel—liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)—to rural and low-income households. The scheme's goal is to improve health by reducing indoor air pollution caused by traditional cooking methods using firewood or cow dung.
