PQRST wave

The PQRST wave is a series of electrical signals seen on an ECG, representing the heart's activity during a heartbeat. The P wave shows the electrical impulse causing the upper chambers (atria) to contract. The QRS complex reflects the impulse that makes the lower chambers (ventricles) contract, pumping blood out of the heart. The T wave indicates the ventricles resetting electrically, preparing for the next heartbeat. These waves help doctors assess heart rhythm, identify issues like irregular beats, and evaluate overall heart health.
