Power and loyalty

Power is the ability to influence or control the actions, decisions, or resources of others or situations. Loyalty refers to a commitment or faithfulness to a person, group, or cause, often based on trust and shared values. Together, power and loyalty shape relationships: power can influence loyalty, and loyal individuals can strengthen or amplify power. Effective leadership often relies on balancing these elements—exercising influence respectfully while fostering trust and dedicated support from others.
