Postoperaismo

Postoperaismo is a Marxist-influenced approach that analyzes contemporary labor and capitalism by emphasizing workers' ongoing resistance, new forms of workplace organization, and the importance of autonomous, decentralized actions. It challenges traditional top-down labor strategies, highlighting how workers, through strikes, protests, and direct actions, can shape economic and political change outside formal unions. Rooted in Italian social movements of the 1960s and 1970s, postoperaismo focuses on the evolving nature of work, emphasizing the need for workers to actively participate in transforming capitalism rather than solely opposing it through classical labor structures.
