Postmillennialism

Postmillennialism is a Christian eschatological view that believes Christ's return will occur after a golden age of Christian influence and moral improvement on Earth. It views history as gradually progressing toward widespread righteousness, driven by evangelism and the spread of Christian values. According to this belief, the world will become better over time through the church's efforts, leading up to Christ’s second coming once this positive cultural transformation is achieved. This contrasts with other views that see Christ returning before or outside such a period of peace and righteousness.
