Portia (the planet)

Portia is a moon orbiting Uranus, discovered in 1986 by the Voyager 2 spacecraft. It is approximately 155 kilometers in diameter and has a heavily cratered, irregular surface indicative of a long history of impacts. Composed mainly of ice and rock, Portia's surface features a mix of extensive valleys, ridges, and fractures, suggesting geological activity or past tectonic processes. Its irregular shape and dense cratering reflect its status as a small, ancient satellite that has experienced little recent change. Portia is one of Uranus’s many moons and contributes to understanding the planet's complex system of natural satellites.
