Poppy Project

The Poppy Project was a UK-based initiative aimed at combating human trafficking and forced prostitution. It provided support, legal assistance, and safe spaces for victims of exploitation, primarily women and girls trafficked into the sex industry. The project worked to raise awareness, coordinate law enforcement efforts, and promote policies to prevent trafficking. Operating between 2003 and 2015, it played a significant role in rescuing victims and helping them rebuild their lives while also addressing the broader issues of vulnerability and exploitation in society.
