Polish Parliament
The Polish Parliament, called the Sejm and the Senate, is Poland’s national legislative body responsible for making laws, approving the government budget, and overseeing government activities. The Sejm, with 460 members elected by popular vote, is the primary chamber, while the Senate, with 100 members, reviews and amends legislation. Together, they form a bicameral system, ensuring representation and balanced lawmaking. Parliament plays a vital role in shaping the country's policies, safeguarding democratic principles, and representing the interests of citizens within Poland's political framework.
