Polarizers

Polarizers are optical devices that filter light waves based on their vibration direction. Light waves vibrate in many directions, but a polarizer only allows waves vibrating in a specific orientation to pass through, blocking others. This process reduces glare, reflections, and enhances contrast, which is why polarized sunglasses are effective against bright sunlight. Polarizers are used in cameras, LCD screens, and scientific instruments to control light and improve image quality by managing the light's polarization state. They function based on materials like polarized glasses or films that selectively absorb or transmit certain vibration directions of light waves.
