Point of view shot

A point of view (POV) shot is a filmmaking technique where the camera shows what a character is seeing, giving viewers the perspective of that character. It helps the audience experience the scene from their eyes, creating a sense of immersion and connection. For example, if a character looks at a person, a POV shot would show that person's face from the character’s viewpoint. This technique is often used to convey emotional reactions, add tension, or help viewers understand a character’s personal experience within the story.
