PNG EITI

PNG EITI (Papua New Guinea Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative) is a government-led effort to promote openness and accountability in how the country’s natural resources—like minerals, oil, and gas—are managed and profited from. It involves publishing payments made by companies to the government and the revenues received, allowing citizens and stakeholders to see whether resources are being used transparently and fairly. The goal is to reduce corruption, ensure equitable benefit-sharing, and improve resource management for the country's sustainable development.
