Plumeria (Frangipani)
Plumeria, commonly known as Frangipani, is a genus of flowering plants renowned for their fragrant, colorful blossoms. Native to tropical and subtropical regions, they thrive in warm climates and are often used in gardens and leis. The flowers range from white and yellow to pink and red, and their sweet scent is especially noticeable in the evening. The tree has thick, succulent branches and broad, glossy leaves. Besides ornamental appeal, some parts of the plant are traditionally used in perfumes and for medicinal purposes, though the sap can be toxic if ingested.
