Plot vs. Character

"Plot" refers to the sequence of events that make up a story—what happens from beginning to end, including conflicts and resolutions. "Character" involves the people or figures within the story, their personalities, motivations, and growth. In essence, plot is the storyline, while characters are the entities that drive and experience that story. Both work together: characters face challenges within the plot, and the plot unfolds through their actions and decisions. A well-crafted story balances engaging events with compelling characters who feel real and relatable.
