Plesiosaurus
Plesiosaurus was a marine reptile that lived during the early Jurassic period, about 200 million years ago. It had a long neck, a small head, a broad body, and four flipper-like limbs that helped it swim efficiently in the oceans. Its streamlined shape and powerful limbs allowed it to hunt fish and other small marine animals. Plesiosaurus is often associated with the classic "sea monster" image, but it was a real animal adapted for life underwater. Its fossils are important for understanding marine life evolution during the Mesozoic era.
