Plekhanov
Georgi Plekhanov was a Russian Marxist thinker and revolutionist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is often called the "father of Russian Marxism" for adapting Marxist ideas to Russia’s unique social conditions. Plekhanov argued that capitalism was a necessary stage toward socialism and emphasized the importance of class struggle and industrial development. He influenced the Russian revolutionary movement but also critiqued some revolutionary approaches, advocating for gradual change through education and political activism. His work laid important groundwork for later Marxist thinkers and the Russian revolutionary movement.
