Platonic ideas
Platonic ideas, or forms, are the perfect, unchanging concepts that exist independently of the physical world. For example, while many things are beautiful, the perfect "Beauty" itself is an abstract, ideal form that doesn't change or fade. These forms serve as the ultimate reality behind our physical objects and experiences, which are imperfect copies or reflections of these perfect ideas. In essence, Platonic ideas are the perfect blueprints or standards that help us understand and recognize concepts like justice, truth, or goodness in the imperfect world around us.
