Plato's Philosophy

Plato’s philosophy explores the idea that beyond the physical world our senses perceive, there exists a realm of perfect, unchanging concepts called Forms or Ideas—such as Justice, Beauty, and Goodness. He believed humans have innate knowledge of these Forms and that true understanding comes through reason and philosophical inquiry, not just sensory experience. Knowledge, in his view, is about recalling these eternal truths. This pursuit of knowledge aims at achieving a just, virtuous life, emphasizing the importance of wisdom, virtue, and the search for fundamental truths about reality and morality.
