Plating process
Plating is a process where a thin layer of metal is applied to the surface of another object to improve its appearance, protect against corrosion, or enhance durability. This is typically done by submerging the object in a solution containing metal ions, and then using electricity to deposit the metal onto the object's surface—a process called electroplating. For example, jewelry or kitchenware might be plated with gold or chrome to make them more attractive and resistant to damage. The overall goal is to create a smooth, even metal coating that improves the item's functionality and appearance.
