Plastic identification codes are symbols, usually a number inside a triangle of chasing arrows, found on plastic products. They indicate the type of plastic material used, such as PET (1), HDPE (2), or PVC (3). These codes help recyclers sort plastics properly and inform consumers about recycling options.
