Planet Earth
Planet Earth is the third planet from the Sun in our solar system. It’s a dynamic, mostly water-covered sphere with diverse landscapes like mountains, forests, oceans, and deserts. Home to millions of species, including humans, Earth’s atmosphere, climate, and ecosystems support life. It has a protective magnetic field and a layered structure—crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core—that generate geological activity like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Earth’s constant movement, including rotation and orbit around the Sun, creates day and night and seasonal cycles, making it a unique and vibrant planet in the universe.
