Plan de Guadalupe

The Plan of Guadalupe was a political and military manifesto issued in 1913 during the Mexican Revolution. Led by Venustiano Carranza, it challenged the dictatorship of Victoriano Huerta, calling for a return to constitutional governance and national sovereignty. The plan declared Huerta's government illegitimate, mobilized forces against him, and aimed to establish a constitutional order based on democratic principles. It played a crucial role in uniting various factions and ultimately contributed to ending Huerta's control, paving the way for significant political reforms in Mexico.
