Image for Pixel Pitch

Pixel Pitch

Pixel pitch refers to the distance between the centers of two adjacent pixels on a display, usually measured in millimeters. It indicates how closely pixels are packed together; smaller pixel pitch means pixels are closer, resulting in a sharper, more detailed image. Larger pixel pitch can make images appear less crisp, especially up close. Essentially, pixel pitch affects the clarity and quality of the display—smaller pitch is ideal for high-resolution screens or when viewers are close to the display, while larger pitch is common for large outdoor billboards viewed from a distance.
