Pinnipeds

Pinnipeds are a group of marine mammals that include seals, sea lions, and walruses. Characterized by their flipper-like limbs, they are well-adapted to life in the water but also spend time on land or ice. Pinnipeds are agile swimmers, using their flippers to propel themselves through the ocean in search of fish and other food. They are social animals, often found in large colonies, and have a thick layer of blubber for insulation. Pinnipeds are found in a variety of marine environments, from icy polar regions to warmer coastal waters.
