Piène

Piène is a natural compound found in the resin of the opium poppy, similar to morphine. It belongs to a class of chemicals called alkaloids, which interact with the brain's opioid receptors to produce pain relief and feelings of euphoria. Historically used in medicine for its analgesic properties, piène’s effects are milder than morphine and it is also a precursor in the chemical synthesis of other opiates. While it plays a role in pain management, it must be used carefully due to its potential for addiction and side effects.
