Physiological Processes

Physiological processes are the natural functions our body performs to keep us alive and healthy. These include breathing, where oxygen enters and carbon dioxide leaves the lungs; circulation, which moves blood, nutrients, and oxygen throughout the body; digestion, breaking down food into nutrients; and regulation, maintaining stable body temperature, pH, and fluids. Hormones and nerves coordinate these activities, ensuring different organs work together efficiently. Overall, physiological processes are the body's complex systems working seamlessly behind the scenes to maintain homeostasis and support life.
