Phrixus
Phrixus is a character from Greek mythology, known for his role in the story of the Golden Ram. He was the son of King Athamas and Queen Nephele. During a famine, Phrixus and his sister Helle were saved from sacrifice when a magical flying ram with golden wool carried them away. Unfortunately, Helle fell off and drowned in the Hellespont, but Phrixus reached Colchis safely. There, he honored the ram’s sacrifice by offering its golden fleece to King Aeëtes, which later became a symbol of authority and a quest for the Golden Fleece in Greek legends.
